Cherry Culture Haul & MAC Heatherette Trio 1

Yesterday I received my package from CherryCulture, which arrived within a week from when I placed my order. It was my first time ordering off of the site and I must say it is definitely a little treasure trove of affordable and unexpected cosmetics brands.

Here are nice group shots of what I ordered:

First off, I'd like to point out that the company is very efficient and allows you to track your package every step of the way and even gives you a date of when to expect your order to arrive in the confirmation e-mail. I like this because it takes the guess work out of figuring out exactly when your items will show up, and you can see exactly how far along in transit they are.

Secondly, while many of the products are under $3 each, they are decent quality for "drug store" cosmetics. The shipping was free with a purchase of $40+ and all of my items were Final Sale, but wellll worth it. I can always swap the shades that don't work for me on Makeup Alley anyway!

Below, I swatched everything for you. I did my best, and as I'm sure you know, the colors are much more noticeable in person, but I have crappy light in my bathroom, usually swatch after dark, and am still learning to make the best use of my point-and-shoot digital camera.

Some "random" items:

Eyeshadow palettes:

Lipsticks:

And I know I'm extremely slow but I finally got my first piece from the long-gone limited edition MAC Heatherette collection. The packaging is an awesome reflective candy pink, and the colors (in general) are all me--vibrant and fun!
MAC Heatherette Eyeshadow Trio #1:

All in all, I recommend ordering from Cherry Culture. While a lot of the products have duplicate colors in them (especially in palettes), they still have slight differences in them that us makeup junkies can definitely notice. Definitely give it a try and let me know what hidden treasures you found! I'll post later and let you know which products I love, love, love!
