Smokey Eye/Cut Crease Tutorial

I did this tutorial 2 Mondays ago and completely forgot about it until I came across the pictures in a folder...I was still coming off of being basically flu-like and my skin went psycho on me. It's not that impressive, and I totally forgot to photograph the products, but hopefully it won't be too much of an issue if I just list them. Enjoy my yucky skin and enjoy! :]

Put on your primer/foundation/concealer/powder after you moisturize for as close as you can get to a perfect canvas (clearly, I did not achieve this here, lol).

Apply blush to the hollows of your cheeks. I used NARS in Desire.

Put on an eyeshadow primer. I used Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion.

Apply a pearl white eyeshadow, like Milani Runway Eyes Singles eyeshadow in Lily White, from your lashline to your browbone--everywhere!

Using a pencil or small blending brush, apply a smoky gray shadow from your outer v curved up above your crease and into the very edge of the bridge of your nose. This is kind of a mod look. I used a mixture of a matte black shadow and the Milani Lily White.

Using a matte dark grey or soft black shadow, slightly define the crease a but more, particularly in the outer v and below the grey shade.

Pack on a tiny bit more pearl white shadow to the inner half of your lid, especially on the inner corner. Using a liquid liner such as Prestige Liquid Eyeliner in black, make a thin line along your upper lashline that gets thicker as it extends outward towards your temple.

Line your waterline with a white eye pencil, such as Jordana's. Line your lower lashline with a black pencil liner or with the liquid liner and an angled brush in the same manner you did the upper lashline...thinner towards the inner corner and thicker at the outer corner. If you have slightly small eyes like I do, I wouldn't take the black lines all the way in...doing it the way I did will really open up the eye and make it look horizontally longer. Add black mascara to top and bottom lashes (clean up any Oops! spots with a q-tip).

Here is an idea of how your eyes should look completed...if you feel the need to highlight your browbone again ,do so...I am unique in that I usually highlight before I do my main colors, while most bloggers tend to do it at the end. Either way, as long as it all looks blended, do what feels comfy for you.

Line your lips with a candy pink lip pencil.

Apply a cotton candy pink--L'Oreal Colour Riche Lipstick in Tickled Pink--with a lip brush.

Top off with a golden-pink lipgloss--I used N.Y.C. Liquid Lip Shine in Pink Sand.

Taking into account that my face is entirely too puffy from being sick, your finished result should look something like this. Pretty simple and classic, but still has a slightly modern edge to it.
What other looks would you guys like to see? Let me know and I'll try it for ya!
