Hello there! So I was thinking it would be fun to do a mini-series based off of celebrity/tv looks. Then I got around to wondering who wasn't more beautiful or stylish than the cast of Gossip Girl? Thus my decision was easy and away into mimicking looks I went!
For the first look, I went with Georgina Sparks...the sassy, manipulative, and scheming secondary character that drops in and out of Manhattan like a summer heat wave. Her look is typically warm and girly yet natural. I chose the following image to imitate on my own:

And here is my interpretation of the look:
Mind you, in real life my skin is paler (closer to actress Michelle Trachtenberg's) and my blush was a lot more strong and peachy as in the original photo. I only have a semi-decent point-and-shoot digital camera, so things don't always translate the way I wish they would. I love blogs/blogging, but photography kind of bores me, so this is the best I could do for now :].
Here is a group photo of the makeup I used to achieve the bronzey autumnal look:

Pictured above is a close-up of the NYX 10 Color Eyeshadow Palette. I only used the dark brown shade on the botton row, third color from left (or right).
And here's a close-up of the Ulta Summer Palette. I left the plastic insert over the shades so you could easily see the names. I used Indian Summer, Silk, and Toast for this look.
Please keep in mind that if you choose to recreate this look, you do not have to use the same products I did in any way...I just give you the lists for color references! Feel free to be as creative (and economical) as you need to be to suit you! Be yourself! :]
1. Start off with a clean, primed "canvas." Apply foundation as desired. Feel free to put some pigment or shimmer into your foundation to give you a radiant, peachy-pink glow if you don't tend to have naturally pink undertones in your skin.
3. Apply a peachy-golden blush to the apples of your cheeks, and contour with a light brown or bronzer. Highlight along the tops of your cheeks and even into your temples for radiance.
4. Prime your eyelids to enhance colors. Next, rub a champagne colored creamy liner or shadestick all over your lids up to your browbone. Contour the eye by applying a bronzey brown liner or shadestick to the crease area. Blend out well with a fluffy eyeshadow brush.
5. Next, using a fluffy eyeshadow brush, dust a coppery-bronze shadow all over the lid, concentrating more on the crease. Deepen the crease a bit more with a bronze shade. Highlight underneath your brow bone with a shimmery ivory.
6. Use a bronzey-coppery pencil liner to line your upper and lower lashline from the center of the eye out. This line should be noticeable, but not particularly thick or harsh. Top off with a dark brown shadow using an angled brush.
7. Curl your lashes and apply a few coats of a good lengthening mascara that isn't too clumpy or dramatic. Georgina's look is naturally exaggerated. (step not photographed)
Your finished result should be very warm, fresh, and earthy! These colors work with most skin tones and all eye colors, but will particularly make blue eyes pop (the whole color theory thing). Your look should resemble something similar to this:
Hopefully you had as much fun with this tutorial as I did and are ready to strut the streets causing mischief while looking Fall foxy! :]
