Maui Babe Browning Lotion, NARS Orgasm Illuminator Review, & Alice Palette Update

Sooo I was browsing Ulta.com today to see if there were any special treats that I wouldn't be able to find at my beloved Sephora, and I found something that definitely attracted my attention: Maui Babe Amazing Browning Lotion. As a very fair-skinned girl who does tan but would rather avoid premature wrinkles, sunspots, and yucky skin altogether, upon reading more on this product, it sounds like a miracle...maximum tan effects for minimum sun time exposure. This product supposedly maximizes every second you're in the sun, as if you're tricking it into thinking you have much more melanin in your skin (which tans faster) than you really do.

The reviews were all basically good, with the only con being that the formula is kind of greasy. But that's the beauty of living in Florida...greasy is allowed year-round! Lol.
Have you ever used/tried this product? If so, pleaaase let me know what you think...
I think $13.49 for a seasonal supply of melanin sounds like an uber-steal, if it works.



Like me, many of you were probably really looking forward to the NARS Orgasm Illuminator. According beauty blogger Belle Du Jour, the hype does not back up the product at all. She summed up her review by saying that the formula was super thin and all signs of highlight were absorbed into the skin within a matter of minutes. I wasn't gunna buy this product until I heard some news on it, and now I'm glad I didn't. Sorry if I burst anyone's bubble, just figured you'd rather know now than later. Besides, I have better things to spend money on such as...
